I Dare You – Just Today I dare you to stop being a control freak. •´*¨`*•✿•❥•
The great lie is That we can control people places, things, and situations in our lives. The great lie is that we are controllers and can control outcomes and circumstances. That we can strong-arm things in our life to turn out the way we have determined they should be.
The Indian poet-saint Lalleshwari said: “Why worry? What is meant for you is always meant to find you.”
Learn to get out of the way, follow the signs, and invite the highest outcomes. It’s okay, you can stop attempting to manipulate life’s results. And when you stop controlling and let go, Synchronicity becomes wild. Learn to spread your wings and fly in a daily vibration that is clear and open, allow your moment to moment being to be flowing. Start to trust the flow and learn how to move with it.
You will always be provided with what you need at the right time, in the right way. What needs to stay, stays. What needs to go, goes.
We’re taught in this society that we must clutch tightly or we will lose what we want, lose what we have. Actually it’s the opposite.
There’s an old Jewish joke that goes… “If you say to God “This is terrible!” God says “Terrible? You haven’t seen anything.” And if you say, “This is good,” God says “Good? You haven’t seen…”
We can have wild, big, fabulous intentions. We can and should take action on our intentions with the greatest thoughts that we will create our ideas into reality. And still at the end of the day, what will be will be. We can no more control how things turn out that we can alter the color of our hair and eyes.
Ultimately real grace is to be receptive to how the day wishes to unfold, understanding that our best planning may become a wholly different adventure than we had planned.
Controlling necessitates such a strong interference of the mind that it blocks out all the wonder and good and many blessings that are around us right now.
Will you dare to release your clutch of control over whatever is upsetting you, or whatever you are trying to force to happen?
The author, Kurt Vonnegut wrote: “Unexpected travel suggestions are dancing lessons from God.”
So let’s dance today. Wherever you feel the urge to travel to – on an inside level or out in the world – trust it and see which miraculous place you end up in.
I DARE YOU: to let go. I dare you to relax and let your instincts guide you. No more controlling! I dare you to live in Divine order and allow the whole world to conspire to shower you with blessings. I dare you!
